As mentioned in previous posts, Siobhan Fahey was the topic of discussion over at the brilliant ' Remember The 80's ' website when she featured in their 'Where Are They Now' weekly article. Well more news from them this week about a possible interview with the chanteuse to take place in the very near future, if you have any questions that you would like to ask Siobhan then send them over to Remember The 80's via their link below. It should make for a great interview, can't wait. www.remembertheeighties.com/index2.htmlFrom Remember The 80's: "If all goes according to plan I will be doing an EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW with SIOBHAN FAHEY in the very near future to talk about her new album 'Songs From The Red Room' which she will release as a SHAKESPEARS SISTER album next week (there's also a live show at London's Hoxton Underbelly on November 20th!) so if you have any questions for Siobhan you'd like me to consider using in the interview then please email them over to me as soon as possible!"

Here are some very enticing soundbites from Siobhan's new album 'Songs From The Red Room' available to listen to and purchace from Amazon on line. Particular interest peaks with the unheard versions of 'A Man In Uniform' ,'Was It Worth It' ....a track with the great and talented Terry Hall and 'You're Alone'. All the tracks have been heard before in various forms through Siobhan's studio downloads, but of course these are the finished studio versions and 'Bitter Pill' sounds completely different, even from the original guitar mix as does 'It's A Trip' and 'Hot Room'. Check it out here: www.amazon.com/gp/product/B002TTZVL8/ref=dm_sp_alb?ie=UTF8&qid=1256272806&sr=8-11

Siobhan on herself and Jessica Lange.
I watched the film Frances last night about Frances Farmer. It stars Jessica Lange and i hadn't seen it in years but i was particularly interested in watching it as so many people over the years have told me i reminded them of her......
I have to admit there is more than a passing resemblance between me in my finery and Jessica Lange at her wig .

If you would like to see the new Shakespears Sister album 'Songs From The Red Room' have a vinyl edition in addition to the CD release and iTunes format then sign the online petition that has been put up at the Shakespears Sister official website. Now this is an excellent idea for everyone to get a very rare format, even if you don't have the turntable to spin the disc it will be a deluxe format to add to your Siobhan collection, even if you just sign up to show your support for Siobhan and the others that would like the 12" vinyl album. An album update:
Shakespears Sister 'Songs From The Red Room' will have an iTunes release on November 9th 2009 preceeding the physical CD release. So far we know that the artwork is complete and there will be a bonus track added of the old Siobhan Fahey solo song 'Someone Elses Girl' that was available as a download from Siobhan's studio in 2005.

The 'Where Are They Now?' regular feature from RememberTheEighties.com recently targeted Siobhan Fahey, we have included their response to their question here as it was so good to see her the subject of talk on their brilliant site. Of course all the news within the feature is not new to us and we have been putting up all the news and updates as we get them. Check out Remember The Eighties here. www.remembertheeighties.com From Remember The Eighties October 14th 2009 'Where Are They Now?' Last week's subject was Siobhan Fahey and I've never had so many people respond to a Where Are they Now? before... i got absolutely loads of people, including her manager, getting in touch with her latest news... basically Siobhan is working under the SHAKESPEARS SISTER name once again and has just announced a London show at Hoxton's Underbelly on November 20th. A new Shakespears Sister album 'Songs From The Red Room' will be released via iTunes on November 9th complete with a bonus track 'Someone Else's Girl'. A great live gig was given by Bananarama at the HMV Relentless Garage concert! They looked and sounded amazing with their band and dancers, they were definitely on form as they shared jokes and laughs with the crowd who absolutely loved the set with songs from 'Viva' 'Drama' True Confessions' Wow!' 'Bananarama' and 'Deep Sea Skiving' unfortunately for fans of 'Please Yourself' 'Pop Life' Ultraviolet' and 'Exotica' songs from those albums weren't featured, maybe next time?.
