Again, just keeping up to date with rumours and sightings of Lady Fahey. This time it has been stated in the press that Siobhan has decided to move to Los Angeles full time, whether this is for work, family or personal reasons is unknown but i'm hoping she's flown London to go and create some fantastic new music in LA inspired by the American lifestyle? Bear in mind Siobhan has lived in LA on and off since first moving there in 1988, she does have a house there so really she's just flying 'home'.....

An exclusive remix has been made of 'Bitter Pill' for the Siobhan Fahey Realm members and will be added soon so look out for that as it will be added in the music section. It has been remixed by an excellent DJ and has a more of a dance feel to it, but you can judge for yourselves when you hear it.

Danny was one of THE best female impersonators ever, along with Divine. The world is definitely a much duller place without these two amazing performers.

Danny La Rue Entertainer Danny La Rue has died at his home in Kent at the age of 81. La Rue's spokeswoman told the PA News Agency that the star had died after suffering from prostate cancer. "Danny died peacefully in his sleep just before midnight last night after a short illness," she said. His beloved companion Annie Galbraith was with him at their home in Kent. Danny La Rue, the self-styled grand dame of female impersonation, who died on Sunday aged 81, achieved national recognition in the late 1960s and early 1970s when he became one of the biggest stars on the cabaret circuit; his combination of expensive gowns and a flagrant overuse of double entendre proved extremely successful. With his dazzling coiffures, extravagant costumes, immaculate make-up, fitted eyelashes, blonde peek-a-boo wig and high heels, La Rue — tall and handsome — brought an air of amiable and poised self-mockery to clubs, cabarets, variety halls and summer shows for nearly 40 years. Beneath huge headdresses and in sequin-studded gowns, La Rue in his heyday would don specially-designed creations of beaded pink lace and tulle with trains of ostrich feathers up to 20-ft long. Thus glorified, La Rue became one of the best-loved professional cross-dressers of his time.

' SHE'S LOST CONTROL '
Siobhan's infamous video for her cover of Joy Division's 'She's Lost Control' Filmed and released by 'Agent Provocateur' for their album 'Peepshow'. Interestingly, Dita Von Teese also stars in the very raunchy video with a George Bush look-a-like! Seen a few times on MTVs more extreme music channels, otherwise TV deemed it 'unfriendly'. . . . . . Go Siobhan!.

The sister site to 'Siobhan Fahey Realm' is situated at Youtube. It's a lovely collection of promo videos, TV appearances, live sets, interviews and wonderfully creative fan made videos, both for the solo singles and Shakespear's Sister. Also hidden amongst these visual treasures are the short films 'Pinned' and 'Jiggery Pockery' so drop by and see if there is anything you like. More will be added as they're found, enjoy. www.youtube.com/user/SiobhanFaheyRealm

The album 'Bad Blood' is no more. It seems Siobhan has retitled her album to 'Songs From The Red Room' an indication to it's new life as A Shakespear's Sister album, or maybe the studio in which it was created? perhaps. Another title recently seen rumoured and in print is ' Songs From The Red Tomb ' this one seems more apt and has a mist of darkness and escapism about it, much more suited to Siobhan Fahey don't you think.

Getting great reviews and gaining popularity, Poppy & The Jezebels seem to be making waves with crytics, compared to early ska/indie Bananarama circa 1981/1982 for their indifference and quirky attitude. Somehow they remind me more of Fuzzbox in sound, I'll keep a look out for these girls as their progression should be interesting. They will however, be on the same stage as Bananarama rather soon. Here is a listenable treat for those who wish to compare. www.mediafire.com/?mmmyny0gzvm
