Has anyone bought Marcella's new single 'All Is Forgiven'? A very emotional ballad, Irish inspired I believe. This is a very different song for her to do, not like anything from her previous albums. 'All If Forgiven' is available on iTunes now. View the video here. www.youtube.com/watch?v=MmCixbNz6X8

There are so many great DJ mixes for 'Venus' and lots of club remixes, there are also some terrible remixes out there. I like... 'The Greatest Remix' 'Extended Mix' 'Exotica Version' 'Showgirls Remix' 'Love To Infinity Mix' 'Black n Blue Mix' Razormaid Mix'
It's hard to choose jut one....but the original is probably the best!

Another thing...all the songs on the extra disc were all made available as studio downloads from Siobhan for members who paid, and a lot of us did every quarter....so in effect we're paying for this album 3 times over.....

It's all very well having a deluxe edition of an album, they're nice to have and I can see why this is being done now because of the tour... But it's a bit soon after the albums first release and feels like a cash in......
The extra disc has some lovely Siobhan songs on it but not at all in keeping with the electronica sounds of 'Songs From The Red Room' It would have been better to release them as an album unto itself, maybe as a covers album as Siobhan's recorded enough of those? and put the deluxe edition with acoustic versions of the album tracks, or new remixes... Anyway it's being released, those that want it will buy it those that don't won't.

Great news for those that are fans of the almighty Fuzzbox. At last, Fuzzbox have officially reformed and it's about time! We had a hint of it a few years ago when Vicki, Mags and Jo got together for a live event but this time they're doing a tour....AND releasing a single...which means a new video, and hopefully some stomping Fuzzbox mixes. Lets hope also that this leads to a new album being made? we didn't get their third album 'Out Of This World' which fans still moan about as it would have sounded brilliant going by the oompf 'Your Loss My Gain' and 'U' both have. And this time I hope, Tina is included, she was so cool...she didn't want to join last time as she was happy with home life! Come back Tina, it's not the same without you.
Tour and single in MAY 2010. Warm up your Fuzzbox.

A very lovely matt black CD and picture booklet....there's a mix in there for everyone. As I thought I would, I very much like the 'Apollo 440 Mix' I've been playing that one the most, Siobhan's vocals don't seem to be drowned out on it.....I also like 'Lord & Master Early Dawn Mix' very dance based, and very addictive! Got to give the 'Smalltown Boy Mix' a shout out too, excellent! great vocal treatment on that one, very 'I Feel Love' am I right in thinking this is the original 'Lil Wolf Mix'??
The 'Stems Mix'? I felt like I was in some 60's lounge bar, very curious take on 'It's A Trip' but again after a few plays it becomes very addictive, great vibe to it but I'm not sure if the song or Siobhan's vocal suits the music? Something doesn't quite fit? I'm wondering who the male vocal is? 'Dedication'? pure bliss. The 'Ingestion Mix' of 'Heroine'? Wow!
;D

I bought a Cd years ago of her solo album called 'Bad Blood' the sleeve is brilliant, it reminds me of New York street art, the tracks are different to 'Songs From The Red Room' but not vastly.

The photos for the album were from old magazine articles, and the back photo was from a promo photo she sold in her shop years ago. As lovely as they are, I feel she should have used something more current and made it really punky to make a statement of where shes's at now, of course the album's years old too so thats probabaly the design she was using when it was going to be a solo album? The photo on the front is one of her best though.

Exactly! Thats what she needed to do with some of the old tracks...but this is the single so thats why it has new mixes. I'm looking forward to the 'Apollo 440 Mix' as I always liked them.

They're basically what are on the CD singles why would we buy them again? If they had been new mixes it would have been better. I can't understand why Siobhan is using such old photos to represent herself either, she doesn't look like that anymore, in fact her image for the past 2 years has been quite punk.

It's had a few plays already on the music channels, and also on radio! Theres a lot of TV and press planned for the promotion of this single, with a great video, mixes, B sides, and formatting im hoping it will do brilliantly well for them.

P.S why is it touted as Siobhan Fahey? It's very confusing....first all the singles are issued under her own name, then the album and It's A Trip' are released as Shakespears Sister...and now back to Siobhan Fahey?? Maybe it's because these are all the old SF mixes, I don't know.
