Released as the AA side to 'Break My Heart' in 1988 and as the lead in Canada, 'Heroine' remains one of the most striking of Shakespear's Sisters songs and singles, an intense dark vocal gives the song depth and edge.
The video, again directed by Sophie Muller sees Siobhan dancing and running barefoot through the streets of New York in a wedding dress, shot in black and white, sepia and colour intercut with some lovely scenes with baby Sam.
Looking beautiful, making this a very memorable early video.
