... This time i'm enjoying exploring the town more than i would've before. I took one of the thames catamarans from tower bridge to Greenwich yesterday and went round the royal observatory. its such a great way to get around London. Hassle free and fun with a historic perspective of the city- like going back in time as you pass the old wharves.
Then i went to the Southbank in a bid to see a Julian Temple doc on Dr Feelgood but got there too late so went back home to watch the BBC iplayer, how great is that? you can watch what you want when you want. What's the point in satellite tv anymore? i watched a doc on Roman Polanski and THAT INFAMOUS TRIAL. man, that guy has had a tough life and survived so much from the death of his mother in a concentration camp to the violent murder of his wife and unborn child by the Manson family. A friend of his observed that after all that trauma he just wanted to avoid any real emotional danger. that one of the things i think that attracts older men to pubescent girls- maybe they dont want to get too involved emotionally.just a theory...i have
I watched the film Frances last night about Frances Farmer. It stars Jessica Lange and i hadn't seen it in years but i was particularly interested in watching it as so many people over the years have told me i reminded them of her......
I have to admit there is more than a passing resemblance between me in my finery and Jessica Lange at her wig .
"I'm down in Rye for the weekend, but i made the mistake of watching the news tonight. Talk about grim. Nothing but murder in sussex."
Just got back home from visiting friends in Hastings myself! Love Rye and surrounds - have visited the Jarman Cottage at Dungeness - a weird yet wonderful landscape that I've ever seen Pity I missed you by a few weeks LOL Keep up the good work - I need your inspiration.
My drummer had flu last week, then my bass player was felled, then my backing singer ...and now ive lost my voice!! yikes. It's gonna be rough and ready on the 20th.
