Unfortunately all the Irish dates for Shakespears Sister's tour have been cancelled due to poor pre-orders for tickets of the shows in Dublin and Cork, the promoters have since pulled the gigs. Very sad for Siobhan and her Irish fans. Those who have tickets will be refunded from place of purchase.

That's a great shame, there are quite a few people who bought tickets and were looking forward so much to seeing Siobhan, it would have been nice for her to perform in her homeland too although I suppose London is also her homeland as she's lived there for so long. This cancellation is probably due to the promoters getting in a panic about pre-sales? surely they couldn't have been that bad? More tickets would have sold closer to the time probably? wasn't there any promotion, newspaper ads etc? I hope this doesn't deter her from touring.
